Hi, I'm Emma
I work by doing, not just directing.
Â
Sometimes I hear industry work being compared to Sisyphus pushing his boulder up the hill. Somewhere along the way, I doodled all over my boulder and fell in love with it.
Combining strategy, creative direction and 10+ years of hands-on design experience, I uplift brands by raising their creative bar and building the teams and systems capable of sustaining it.Â
My operating principles:
Let people feel understood before expecting them to be persuaded.
The customer is the hero. Their lives and feelings are your story.

If it's not beautiful, it's not done.
Take a moment and...

Go-to beverage?
Any hobbies?
Dream super power?
Iced latte, loads of sugar. Yes, even in Estonia in January. The pain builds character.
Loads! I take photos (nice ones), I play padel (badly), and I replay every social interaction I've ever had (not weird).
Teleportation and it isn't even a competition. I'd snap my fingers and be in the South of France, bye!
Some quick housekeeping
01
Where are you located?
02
What can you do?
I'm in Tallinn, Estonia but originally from the US (Virginia). Native English speaker, terrible Estonian speaker. Open to travel.
Web design, app design, motion and video just to name a few. Campaigns excite me, but anything creative I can sink my teeth into is where I shine.
03
How do you use AI?
04
What tools do you mostly use?
However it can serve me and my team. Workflow efficiency, copy and creative inspiration have often benefitted from it.
Always up-skilling but these days I live in Figma, Claude Design, Notion, Miro, Runway, Asana/Jira.
